Abstracts submitted to the Peter Sheehan Young Innovator Award are reviewed independently by the Award Review Committee against four criteria: organisation of the abstract, innovation demonstrated in the research, feasibility of medical translation to the clinical wound healing field, and potential for industry advancement. The highest-scoring candidates are invited to present their research to the Committee in a final competition, from which the winner is determined.
Presentations made at the final competition are confidential and never published.
