Mohammad Dehghan Rouzi is an AI and Machine Learning Scientist at UCLA Health, specializing in digital health, tele-medicine, and clinically deployable AI systems. His work spans speech-based cognitive monitoring, video-based frailty assessment, and wearable-driven digital biomarkers, contributing to several NIH-funded initiatives including the Precision Aging Network. He has led and co-led over 10 multi-institutional projects and developed patient-facing technologies used in real clinical environments. His recent innovation integrates AI chatbots into diabetic-foot-ulcer care, delivering adherence-aware smart notifications to improve offloading compliance and patient engagement. With more than 15 publications and a US patent, he focuses on building impactful AI solutions that enhance patient outcomes.
